Mrs. Brittany Cleveland
Founder/Executive Director
Mrs. Brittany, the founding CEO of Leading Ladies Mentoring Academy, graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. Her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds has always been strong, but in 2011, she discovered her true calling: mentoring young girls full-time.
In 2014, she officially launched Leading Ladies Mentoring Academy after recognizing the need to shift the mindset of what’s possible for girls who look like her. The journey began at Grad Academy Memphis, where she mentored a group of 50 girls during school hours and 15 more after school. Despite the challenges, Mrs. Brittany has remained committed to "her girls," particularly those often described as “rough around the edges.”
She mentors these young women with a mission to instill hope, teach accountability, boost self-esteem, and inspire them to dream beyond their current circumstances. Her goal is to help these girls rewrite their narratives and see a future filled with possibility.
With years of experience as a trauma-informed behavior interventionist and a certified life coach, Mrs. Brittany has not only given these young women a voice but also helped them discover their purpose. Her dedication to empowering girls continues as she seeks new opportunities to inspire them to become the best versions of themselves, using their voices to make a meaningful impact in their own lives and communities.
Ms. Ashley Lynch
Ms. Ashley Lynch is a graduate of The University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.A. in Sociology and Political Science. She has spent her career post college serving the youth in various roles. She served as the Program Coordinator for Girl Talk Inc. Knoxville mentoring program. She's served as a high school onsite social worker and now currently serves in the Operations field of Education. Ashley has a passion to help youth to be the best versions of themselves by providing them with the academic, social, and emotional resources necessary to navigate life, which is why she has been so impactful with the work she has done to make our program what it is today.
Ms. Chasatee Price
Ms. Chasatee Price earned her B.S degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 2011 where she also served as a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. She became an active volunteer with Leading Ladies Mentoring Academy during the beginning stages and it was there that her love for mentoring grew. She later went on to pursue an MBA from Cumberland University and since joining Leading Ladies Mentoring Academy, Chasatee plays a crucial role in the continued success of our organization. Her exceptional skill set, true passion, and creativity has inspired massive growth within the organization, and her spirit continues to be a shining light within her community as well as our organization.
Ms. Jolisa Hayes
Ms. Jolisa Hayes is a graduate of University of Memphis with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. After a thriving career in many different businesses, and local outreach organizations, Leading Ladies Mentoring Academy was pleased to welcome Jolisa to the team. As a passionate, motivated, results-oriented collaborator, she continues to make us what we are today and remains humble in serving her community and the surrounding area.
